The form of the character is starting to look solid, the proportions also have a good feel to it. The first scene where the character sticks out (because he's glowing red!) in the sea of lightly detailed wolves is quite a nice composition. Especially with the contrast of style between the hero and the monsters.
Background wise you could do with some geometry instead of lines. The geometry could be monochromatic according to the background color that you are already using, it would just have some solid shades in them (photoshop, greyscale image blending mode etc).
As for the cover, the wolf in the background you could play more with that contrast of red and green, maybe a little bit more red. The character could be a third of the cover (red would be 35% or so of the composition). You could have a half shot of the hero or something along those lines.
